Express Entry
You do not need to score 1200. The lowest cut-off score is set and changes every time. Candidates that meet the lowest cut-off score are invited to apply for Permanent Residence.
Those who did not meet the CRS cut-off remain in the pool of candidates for one year. They have a chance to work on improving their CRS score and update their profile up until they are issued an Invitation to Apply.
Federal Skilled Trades
A full-time job offer is required from a Canadian employer for a full 1 year
Or
a certificate of qualification in that skilled trade issued by a Canadian provincial, territorial or federal authority
Settlement funds:
You will be required to show sufficient funds for supporting yourself and your family in Canada, but -
if you are currently legally working in Canada or have a valid job offer - then it is not required
Federal Skilled Workers
Job offer:
Not required (you can get higher points if you have a valid job offer from a Canadian employer)
Have sufficient settlement funds
