In physical presence calculation, applicants may include the time they spent in Canada as temporary residents or protected persons. Each day in this status counts as half a day, and the maximum number of days that can be counted toward your physical presence in Canada is 365.
Canada has two official languages: English and French. All applicants between 18 and 54 years of age on the day you sign your application must show that they can speak and listen at a specific level in one of these languages.
